Amy Thornberry is a practicing artist and yogi residing in San Pedro, Ca since 2001.

She received her MFA from California State University Long Beach. She was a studio artist at Angel’s Gate Cultural Center where she showed her work and also conducted community yoga class for over twenty years. She has also shown her work at The Loft Gallery in San Pedro and at the Torrance Art Museum. In 1998 she received the blessing of Yogacharya B.K.S. Iyengar while on a four month long pilgrimage to India. She recently completed a four year long residency in Salinas Ca while caring for her elderly father.
