Dan is a sculptor, photographer, and assemblage artist interested in documenting the broken edges of the human-made world, where nature creeps back in. He finds beauty in the patterns, textures, colors, and forms found in the process of decay. His works have emerged from a process of stripping away extraneous elements until a pure detail emerges. His work mostly emerges from a love of materials and processes.

Over the past 3 decades, Dan's professional career has spanned a variety of design disciplines, ultimately focusing on User Experience Design (the art of making things easy to use). He most recently served as the Founding Designer for HelloCreator, a startup working to improve the lives of creatives. Previous experiences include Director of User Experience for Study.com, Co-Founder of Thuuz, Creative Director for Pandora, and several years designing museum exhibits and other fun stuff.

Dan has served on the board of directors of Art Bias, a non-profit dedicated to providing community artists with the resources and knowledge they need to thrive. He has also served on the advisory board of Life Vest Inside, a non-profit focused on empowering people through kindness.
