Jane is a nationally recognized contemporary artist from the Reading Pennsylvania. She received her Master’s Degree in Fine Arts from the University of Cincinnati, spent a year writing and making collages at the Rhode Island School of Design under the guidance of Dale Chihuly. She then taught painting and drawing at Albright College for a decade. She has worked individually and collectively on many creative projects as President of All Together Art Inc, including a partnership with the National Endowment for the Arts, the International Space Station, the Acadia National Forrest’s Night Sky Festival as well as an exhibition about the parallels between art and science at the Empire State Building.

Jane’s artwork is gestural and joyful with provocative titles. Astronomy, stacks of books, the rhythm of music and the seasonal forest have fueled Runyeon’s abstract artworks for decades. Major influences include the expressive splashy brush strokes of the Abstract Expres-sionists, the collages of Matisse and paintings of Joan Mitchell.
