Seth Dembar is a Brooklyn based artist whose work has been exhibited in the US, mainly in NY and Miami. His work combines various mediums and techniques from different artistic schools/disciplines exploring the interplay between representation and abstraction. In his pieces, the foreground (subject) and background often blend together revealing a synergy, form, color, line, and texture. The final artworks are presented as two-dimensional digital prints on paper or canvas, frequently enhanced with applied paint. In the studio, Dembar’s process combines physical constructions, assemblages using found objects, paint, drawing, and sculpture. Digital photography captures the subtle nuances of light—as objects, paint, texture, and layers of color converge to reveal the final artwork.
